About RUTS CashBack Academies:

  • RUTS offer Motorbike, Cycling and non-contact Boxing/Fitness Academies which support participants within the context of skills for life and employability.

  • RUTS link with affiliated Fitness / Boxing / Cycling Clubs to introduce young people to the sport(s).

  • RUTS Academies provide young people with the opportunity to undertake bite size learning with the longer term aim of continuing a broad engagement in their 'next step' capacity (i.e. volunteer, employment, apprenticeship, further education).

Through these academies, a range of awards and accredited qualifications can be offered. In addition, positive soft outcomes for young people will be measured such as:

  • Improved mental health and a more positive outlook on life.

  • They are more aware of the risks and impacts of harmful substance use.

  • They are less inclined to engage in harmful drugs and/or alcohol use.

  • Their confidence has increased.

  • Increased participation in physical and sporting activities.
